We are working to help connect groups working on the response effort in three stages:
- Awareness: Help people understand WHO is doing WHAT, WHERE
- Connect and communicate: Help people have conversations together to better understand what groups are doing, and what might be missing.
- Collaborate: Help different initiatives find opportunities to collaborate to improve response efforts on the ground.
What’s possible right now through Lebanon Data Response Coalition?
- You can search for organizations and filter yourself, or see sector views from the home page or the menu
- Groups can update their own profile, to try to keep the database as updated as possible
- Groups can identify as part of a coalition, UN inter-sector cluster, or other network, include simple relevant contact information on the top of each sector page
- Share organization updates to keep others updated on what you are doing
What’s coming soon?
- The ability to see groups working in each sector and in each area.
- Arranging online discussions for organizations working in different sectors, and then sector+location discussions
- Improved views for each coalition and cluster
- Improved posting of relevant news and events for the response initiatives and efforts
- Improved listings of the mappings and assessments that are taking place
- Basic vetting information about different organizations
- List of whatsapp coordination groups
- Improved listing of the terms used, to help other organizations use the same lists in their efforts
